Some on here have said if you don't agree with the doctrine of a certain preacher or belief system, you are being judgmental. But in choosing Christianity, aren't we "judging" that other religious sects are wrong? Aren't we judging that Christ is the Savior of all? The Bible says, "The love of money is the root of all evil." If Prosperity Preacher's platforms start with greed. Should we really follow their teachings? Many of these "Name it and Claim it" proponents also teach humans are born "good." Yet God's Word states, "There is no one who does good, not one." I became a Christian through a Crusade that the late Billy Graham held. Oh, he asked for donations, but that was never the focus of his teachings. He never intimated that by giving money to him, you would receive money. The only thing he promised was that if we received Christ, Christ would receive us.

I Know my marriage will be restored

Father God, I am asking for healing in my life. I am broken and have hurt people. I hurt my favourite person, my girlfriend Samantha. Father, please help us foster reconciliation. In your name, Amen.

Please pray that my firefighter partner, Jamie, of 15 years, comes back home to me and our children. Please pray the female firefighter (Dee) from his work, that he is seeing, is removed from his life and finds her best as he is not her best and she is not his best. We are his best. Remove that seductive spirit in Jesus' name. Pray she is transferred to a different fire station in a different city. God meant for families to stay together. The devil wants to destroy them, but I won't allow this for my family. Please pray that every time he goes to see her or when he is about to sin, that God stands in his way. Please pray he quits smoking. Pray he finds Jesus,l and salvation as he has announced he is atheist now, pray for forgiveness, and he repents for hurting his family. Please pray for restoration, peace, and healing in my family. Pray my son's renew their faith again, and their hearts heal. Pray Jamie steps up to be the father they deserve. Please pray that Jamie sees me with renewed eyes from now on and finds love for me again. Please pray the right labourer crosses his path and leads him back to the lord. There are evidence of bad things happening to single mothers kids. The statistics clearly point bad things happening to these kids. If divorce happens, they are victims. Also statistics show the main reasons divorce ocurring is because wives love husbands no more. So a woman better not marry a husband she doesnt love him. Wives got bored of husbands. Other thing is the abundance of bad men and women seducing married persons. They are homewreckers, any married person should avoid those. There are cheating persons using the church to convince the spouse to forgive him or her. The plan is to stop the divorce, but stay cheating the spouse. They are malicious lewd conduct persons. It is his or her decision to forgive but if cheating happens again, divorce.

For someone who attending my place of worship on a Lord's Day morning, could mean losing my life, for a few dark decades in time, the ecumenical issues around the Alpha Course are dangerous. Just last evening, I listened to almost twenty Roman Catholic bishops & priests giving plaudits, left & right to how the Alpha Course has filled the pews of these houses of idolatry once more. However, the very fact that this heretic is sitting with a woman whose very name is shocking to most TRUE believers, is appalling. Meyers has been married twice (her first 5 year marriage, unacknowledged on her website, was very real & she is a divorcee). Joyce Meyers false prophecies & continual begging for money for her "ministry", mostly from a lot of people who have little enought to feed, clothe & put a roof over their heads, would have elicted the same righteous anger from the Lord Jesus Christ as he did with the rebrobates at the temple in the years He ministered on earth. The value of TWO weeks salary for her is just £2,000 less than an ANNUAL salary for middle class Americans. Besides the main house which Meyers shares with her second "husband", ministry funds also paid for four other homes which her grown family lives in. I'm also aware of the cost & specifications for her so-called, "ministry" jet due to someone I know well being involved in it's engineering. It seems that Gumble is willing to sit & have a friendly chat with anyone, regardless of their fudging of the Gospel message, if it promotes his Alpha agenda.

does any Christian actually get divorced after they got baptized? if it does happen, why would god allow that? many testimonies share that their marriage was saved after they come to Christ, but what if the other way?

I really really don’t understand Nicky Gumbel. He’s clearly educated, appears intelligent, trained as a barrister for goodness sake- and yet he has stated time and time again “I read the New Testament and came to the conclusion-it’s true”. So much for his legal training then. And he constantly quotes The Gospel of John - seemingly unaware that nobody apart from a biblical literalist, believes that it’s anything other than a work of theological fiction.
